* Insight Meditation Center also has other morning and evening meditation sittings and talks, as well as one-day retreats. Everything is free of charge.

Peacebank Yoga in Redwood City has classes (for a fee) in Restorative Yoga (Mondays 7:30 pm) and Yin Yoga (Sundays 7:00 pm and Wednesdays 7:30 pm), both of which are very slow and extremely relaxing.
The Pacific Art League in Palo Alto offers a variety of fine arts classes; registration and fee required.
ART, COOKING, LANGUAGE & FITNESS
The Parks & Recreation departments offer classes (discounted for city residents but open to all) on a variety of topics:
